Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
