Then, when the Messengers (the angels) came unto the family of Lout (Lot). 61 He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk." 62 They replied, "We have come to you about the matter which the (unbelievers) have rejected. 63 We bring you the truth, and indeed we are truthful. 64 Go, then, with thy household while it is yet night, with thyself following them in the rear; and let none of you look back, but proceed whither you are bidden." 65 We informed him that the unbelievers would be utterly destroyed. 66 The inhabitants of the city came in (mad) joy (at news of the young men). 67 He said, 'These are my guests; put me not to shame, 68 Have fear of Allah, and do not humiliate me." 69 They replied: 'Have we not forbidden you (the people of) the worlds' 70 [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]." 71 By your life! they were blindly wandering on in their intoxication. 72 and thereupon the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at sunrise. 73 and We turned those [sinful towns] upside down, and rained down upon them stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained. 74 Behold! in this are Signs for those who by tokens do understand. 75 Indeed, it is on a way which still exists. 76 Behold! in this is a sign for those who believed. 77 And the people of Aykah were also wrong-doers. 78 So, We took vengeance on them. They are both on an open highway, plain to see. 79

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
