The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
