SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
