We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
