The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
