Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Doth every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Delight? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 the day they shall come forth from the tombs hastily, as if they were hurrying unto a waymark, 43 with downcast eyes and faces distorted in shame; such is the Day which they are promised. 44
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
