Everyone that is thereon will pass away. 26 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 Whosoever is in the heaven and earth ask Him. Every day He is upon an affair (He reveals according to His Eternal determination). 29 Which of your Lord's laudable attributes will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 30 Soon will We apply Ourselves to you, O you two armies. 31 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 34 There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape. 35 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 36 And when the heaven is rent asunder, and then becomes red like red hide. 37 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 38 Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seized by the forelock and their feet. 41 Which of the powers of your Lord, will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 42 This will be the hell which those who are lost in sin [now] call a lie: 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 45
