Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
