He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
