The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
