The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
