What! Do they, in whose hearts is a disease, fancy that Allah will not expose concealed enmities? 29 Now had We so willed, We could have shown them clearly to thee, so that thou wouldst know them for sure as by a visible mark: but [even so,] thou wilt most certainly recognize them by the tone of their voice. And God knows all that you do, [O men;] 30 And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs. 31 Those who disbelieved and barred others from Allah's Way and opposed the Messenger after the True Guidance had become manifest to them, they shall not be able to cause Allah the least harm; rather, Allah will reduce all their works to nought. 32 O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds. 33 ۞ God will never forgive the disbelievers who prevent others from the way of God and who die as disbelievers. 34 So, be not faint-hearted and do not cry for peace. You shall prevail. Allah is with you and will not bring your works to nought. 35 The worldly life is just a sport and pastime; and if you accept faith and be pious, He will bestow your rewards to you, and not at all ask you for your wealth. 36 If He asks you for them, and presses you, you are niggardly, and He brings to light your rancour. 37 Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you. 38
