Lo! We, even We, have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a revelation; 23 Therefore stay patient upon your Lord’s command, and do not listen to any of the sinners or ingrates among them. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Verily they love (the good of this world) that is hastily obtainable and are oblivious of the burdensome Day ahead of them. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way]: for, behold, God is indeed all-seeing, wise. 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
