Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
