The Hijjr Valley (Al-Hijjr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ AlifLaamRa. Those are the verses of the Book, the Clear Koran. 1 Perhaps (often) will those who disbelieve wish that they were Muslims [those who have submitted themselves to Allah's Will in Islam Islamic Monotheism, this will be on the Day of Resurrection when they will see the disbelievers going to Hell and the Muslims going to Paradise]. 2 Let them eat and enjoy life, and let (false) hope beguile them. They will come to know! 3 And never have We destroyed any community [for its wrongdoing] unless a divine writ had [previously] been made known to it; 4 No nation can outstrip its term, nor do they put it back. 5 They say, "You to whom the Reminder [the Quran] has been sent down, you are surely possessed. 6 If you are a man of truth, why can't you bring the angels to us?" 7 We send not down the angels, save with truth; 8 Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian. 9 Indeed, We sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW) amongst the sects (communities) of old. 10 And never does a Noble Messenger come to them, but they mock at him. 11 even so We cause it to enter into the hearts of the sinners -- 12 They do not believe in it even though the practice of the ancients has already gone. 13 Even if We opened out to them a gate from heaven, and they were to continue (all day) ascending therein, 14 Even then they would say, “Our sights have been hypnotised – in fact, a magic spell has been cast upon us.” 15
