Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
