Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 watching over you 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
