۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us ask: 'Why have no angels been sent to us? Why can we not see our Lord' How proud they are within themselves, and have become greatly disdainful. 21 On the day when the criminals see the angels, there will, certainly, be no rejoicing for them. Rather, they will plead to the angels, "Please keep away from us (do not drive us into hell)." 22 Then We shall advance upon the work which they have done and render it as scattered dust. 23 On that Day, the companions of Paradise (will have) a better abode and a finer restingplace. 24 A day when the heaven with the clouds will be rent asunder and the angels will be sent down, a grand descent. 25 and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God. 26 And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. 27 “Woe to me – alas, if only I had not taken that one for a friend.” 28 Certainly he led me astray from the reminder after it had come to me; and the Shaitan fails to aid man. 29 The Messenger says: 'O my Lord, my people have taken this Koran while deserting it' 30 thus did We assign to every prophet an enemy from among the sinners; your Lord is sufficient as a guide and a helper. 31 The unbelievers say, 'Why has the Koran not been sent down upon him all at once?' Even so, that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have chanted it very distinctly. 32 And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof). 33 Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell – theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. 34
