THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
