Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan,] and the people of Tubba: they all gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon that whereof I had warned [them] came true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
