The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
