The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and shade extended, 30 And water poured out 31 and abundant fruit, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 and made them virgins, 36 Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
