What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 From the right and the left, in groups? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 I do not need to swear by the Lord of the eastern and western regions that We have certainly all the power 40 to replace them by a better people and none can challenge Our power. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; this is the day, which they had been promised. 44
