In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known term? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
