▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
