Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
