۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
