(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast; 25 and ease my task for me. 26 And loose a knot from my tongue, 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 Strengthen my back by him, 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 and remember You much: 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 Both of you go to him (Pharaoh) and say: "We are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel depart with us, and do not punish them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; peace be on him who follows guidance! 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
