Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
YaSeen. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
