He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. 15 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not cause you to sink into the earth when it is violently shaking? 16 Or have you become so unafraid that He who is in Heaven will not send a violent wind to shower stones at you? Then you will know the import of My commination! 17 Those that were before them also cried lies; then how was My horror! 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them? None, except the Merciful holds them. Surely, He sees all things. 19 Or who is this that shall be a host for you to help you, apart from the All-merciful? The unbelievers are only in delusion. 20 Or, who is it that shall provide for you if He withholds His provision? Yet they persist in arrogance and aversion. 21 Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path? 22 Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." 23 Say: “Allah it is Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you will be mustered.” 24 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 25 Say, "God alone has knowledge of that; and I am only a plain warner." 26 Then, when they see it nigh at hand, the faces of the unbelievers will be vexed, and it will be said, 'This is what you were promised.' 27 Say: "See ye?- If Allah were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us,- yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty?" 28 Proclaim, “He only is the Most Gracious – we have accepted faith in Him and have relied only upon Him; so you will now realise who is in open error.” 29 Say thou: bethink ye, were your water to be sunk away, who then could bring you water welling-up? 30
