VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 except his wife (about whom Allah says that) We have decreed that she shall be among those who stay behind." 60
