The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 As they sat around it 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
