ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
