Al-A 'araaf 23 of 24
And those who deny Our revelations - step by step We lead them on from whence they know not. 182 and I respite them, My stratagem is firm. 183 Have they not reflected? No madness is in their comrade; he is naught but a plain warner. 184 Have they not considered the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and what things Allah hath created, and that it may be that their own term draweth nigh? In what fact after this will they believe? 185 Whomsoever God leads astray, no guide he has; He leaves them in their insolence blindly wandering. 186 They ask you about the hour, when will be its taking place? Say: The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none but He shall manifest it at its time; it will be momentous in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but of a sudden. They ask you as if you were solicitous about it. Say: Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know. 187 Say: I do not control any benefit or harm for my own soul except as Allah please; and had I known the unseen I would have had much of good and no evil would have touched me; I am nothing but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who believe. 188
