The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
