The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
