When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 So when they had passed further on (beyond that fixed place), Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "Bring us our morning meal; truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 Then they found one from among Our servants whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had taught knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He said: Lo! thou canst not bear with me. 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
