Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 I am a trustworthy messenger to you: 162 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 “And leave the wives your Lord has created for you? In fact you are people who exceed the limits.” 166 They said, "If you do not desist, Lot, you will surely be banished." 167 He said, "I am one of those who abhors your ways. 168 My Lord! Save me and my household from what they do. 169 Then We delivered him and all his family 170 Except an old woman, among those who remained behind. 171 then We destroyed the others, 172 And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned! 173 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 174 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 175
