Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
