۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
