The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
