The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
