The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
