Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
