Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 And, out of Our Mercy, We gave him his brother Aaron, (also) a prophet. 53 Commemorate Ishmael in the Book. He was true of his promise, and a messenger, a prophet. 54 And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 55 And mention in the Book, Idris; he too was of the truth and a Prophet, 56 And We raised him to high station. 57 These are (some of) those who were favoured by God among the prophets of the progeny of Adam, and of those We bore in the ark with Noah, and the offspring of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and We chose, for they bowed weeping in adoration when the revelations of Ar-Rahman were recited to them. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom, 59 Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught. 60 (They shall enter the) Gardens of Eden, which the Merciful has promised His worshipers in the Unseen. Indeed, His promise shall come. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 Such are the gardens which We will give to Our God-fearing servants as their inherited property. 63 (Muhammad), we (the angels) do not come to you without being commanded by your Lord to do so. To Him belongs all that is before us, behind us, and in between. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 "Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and of all that is between them; so worship Him, and be constant and patient in His worship: knowest thou of any who is worthy of the same Name as He?" 65
