Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying God). 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples. 196 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 This is how We have made (the habit of) denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?' 203 Would they (now) hasten on Our doom? 204 Seest thou? If We do let them enjoy (this life) for a few years, 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do." 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 Should I tell you to whom the satans come? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 on those who whisper hearsay in the ears of people; and most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And they say what they do not do, 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
