It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 Aye! We have brought them the truth and verily they are the liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
