In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 The Compassionate on the Throne is established. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud – so He surely knows the secret and that which is more concealed. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 And has the story of Musa come to you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So he threw it - and lo! it was a snake, moving rapidly. 20 Said He: "Take hold of it, and fear not: We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' 24
