(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
